Small But Mighty was started in May 2015 when a little girl named Sophia heard from her aunt that a youth club nearby needed help for their summer camp. At five years old, Sophia was too young to be a counselor, and she was certainly too small to do any of the heavy lifting. But when she learned that the camp needed drinking water for the kids during the hot summer months because they only had one outdoor water fountain, Sophia knew she could help.
Even though she was just a kid, she knew she could make a difference! Sophia held a bakesale to raise money to have water delivered to the summer camp in East Palo Alto. Small But Mighty is a place where kids help kids...because KIDS CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!
